“SUPER STAR” RECOGNITION AWARD Guidelines

Application
Task: To seek out and recognize those Human Resources professionals who
have gone above and beyond their regular job requirements, and/or assisted
the advancement of other Human Resources professionals, and/or promoted the
Human Resources profession.
Eligibility: All
participating HRA members, their support staff and anyone who has
created value for the HRA of Greater Concord is eligible for recognition.
Award: The
award is peer recognition and a Super Star Award.
Star
Criterion:
- The selected
individual has gone above and beyond the requirements of their
job.
- The individual
has been highly instrumental in bringing value to all members.
- The individual
has impacted the Human Resource profession in a positive way
Decision:
HRA
members make recommendations for the Super Star Recognition Award by
telephoning, writing or e-mailing the Recognition Committee. Committee
members may solicit recommendations from HRA members when necessary. The
Committee, comprised of the Recognition Director and two volunteer members,
decide who has earned the coveted “Super Star Awards” for the next meeting. If
there are no volunteer members, the Board of Directors selects the individuals
who will be honored at the regularly scheduled meeting prior to the monthly
HRA meeting.
Deadline:
The second Wednesday of each month.
Process:
- The
HRA of Greater Concord membership sends award nominations to the
Recognition Awards Committee with an explanation of the Star’s
contribution.
- The
Recognition Awards Committee discusses nominations and makes a
decision regarding which shining Star(s) was the brightest.
- The
Recognition Awards Director notifies the HRA Board at the monthly
meeting.
- Presentation
of the Super Star award(s) is made at the regularly scheduled membership
meeting. (Third Thursday)
