PROGRAM COMMITTEE:
Coordinates montly meetings, food selection, speakers and diversified
programs of interest to the membership.
FINANCE COMMITTEE:
Ensures the continued financial viability of the organization by establishing sound financial operating policies and procedures and monitoring monthly financial activity.
RECOGNITION COMMITTEE:
Recognizes individual members for their donations to the association.
MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE:
Solicits and reviews applications for new members, maintains membership
roster, and introduces new members at monthly meetings.
POLICY COMMITTEE:
Ensures compliance with and reviews and proposes amendments to the Constitution
and Bylaws.
NOMINATION COMMITTEE:
Chaired by the Immediate Past President, develops and presents to the
Board of Directors and membership a slate of nominees for officers/directors
for the new year.
MARKETING AND PUBLIC RELATIONS COMMITTEE:
Develops and coordinates standardized marketing and public relations materials, press releases, and media to present the chapter’s values and those of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
SHRM LIAISON
Acts as liaison and advises members of national and state activities
offered by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). Assists
individuals in becoming members of the SHRM.
