Human Resources Assistant

Granite State Independent Living (GSIL), a home care and community-based organization dedicated to maximizing independence for adults with physical disabilities and chronic health care needs, is seeking a dynamic and energetic Human Resources Assistant to join its team.  Primary duties of this  position include:  responsibility for ensuring the accuracy of employment related records; entering & and updating personnel information into HRIS system; gathering required documentation to process separations from employment and provide assistance and back up to other HR staff in various HR functions as needed.

Successful candidate will be able to demonstrate competency in:  planning & organizing;   multi-tasking; effective oral and written communication; attention to detail; proficiency with word processing and data management systems.  Knowledge of current Human Resources practices required. Bachelor’s Degree desired, Associates in Business/Human Resources or Human Resources Certification required.  Should be able to work with minimal supervision both independently and in a team setting.  This a full time – “entry level” position offering great benefits.  Persons with disabilities encouraged to apply.
